Poppins could provide you a solution.
Many restaurants in Japan unfortunately do not allow kids below 12 years old, which limits your options of restaurants.
Poppins provides nanny and child care service with English speaking staff.
They have over 30 years of history, and have been awarded the Health, Welfare and Labor Minister’s Award at the first ‘Nihon (Japan) Service Awards’, a ceremony that honors companies who provide outstanding services.

Nanny comes to your room at your hotel, and takes care of your children.

3,780 Yen/ per hour (per one child)
Min. 2 hours

• VAT is included.
• Even if services are completed within less than an hour, an hourly rate applies.
• There is an additional fee of 1,080 yen (VAT included) per hour between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am.
• The second child will be 50% off.
• One nanny takes care of up to 2 children for one family.
• If the service finishes after 10:00 pm, additional 5,000 yen will be charged for transportation fee for each nanny.

The payment will be made through your hotel (it will be charged to your hotel bill).

Cancellation Policy:

• 100% will be charged for the cancellation after 6:00PM of previous day.
• No cancellation fee before that.

Booking tips:

As the cancellation policy of child care is less strict than restaurant service, we would recommend to book child care first then book the restaurants.
